If you like meaningful texts, great melodies and sophisticated productions, Pretty Mellow may be the right thing for you. Pretty Mellow is a constant work in progress, and we progress slowly to get the best results!

Our music isn’t so easy to categorize; we enjoy and explore making very different sounds, varying from humourous and satirical statements to honest felt serious ballads. Malin, who writes most of the lyrics, is inspired by several brilliant lyricists (for instance Howard Jones, Pink Floyd, Kent, Thomas Dolby, Alannis Morisette, a-ha, Björk), litterature, history and life itself. Dagfinn, who writes the music, is inspired by Beach Boys, The Beatles, Supertramp, 10CC, ABC, Brahms, Rammstein, Marilyn Manson, Mr. Bungle etc.)
